⁵⁸ You yourself must bear the consequences of your indecency and detestable practices”^(A)—this is the Lord’s declaration.

⁵⁹ “For this is what the Lord God says: I will deal with you according to what you have done, since you have despised the oath by breaking the covenant.^{(B) 60} But I will remember the covenant I made with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you.^(C)
